Inside Hinoki Water

Inside Hinoki Water

Time to read: Three minutes
Series: Whispers from the Cypress Lab
A light hinoki note can help a room feel fresh and neutral. Not a cover-up—an etiquette of cleanliness you can repeat.

Why it matters
Many sprays lead with “scent” and hide the rest. Homes need clarity: what the water phase is, how the mist behaves on linens and clothes, and why the finish stays low-residue. When labels are disclosed and routines stay simple, cleanliness becomes a considerate habit rather than a new smell layered on top of yours.

Inside the formula
The Spray is formulated with Jeju Hinoki Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa) Water—clearly listed in INCI on pack. The fine mist is designed to deodorize fabrics and refresh rooms while keeping cotton, linen, and most blends comfortable to the touch. Mist at arm’s length; two light passes beat one heavy spray. The formula is dermatologically tested; irritation index 0.00, supporting a skin-friendly contact profile for daily use.

From pruning to use
We upcycle hinoki foliage from routine pruning rather than harvest timber. Steam distillation carries a light hinoki note into the water phase without artificial fragrance. Because the source is natural, subtle seasonal or harvest variation can occur—similar to a natural wine. Performance remains consistent: the background returns to fresh and neutral within minutes, helping shared spaces stay polite.

Label, disclosed
Clean Made for us means plain-language labeling and traceable details:

  • INCI naming and intended use (fabrics and rooms).
  • Care guidance: mist at distance; lock to OFF, then press fully once after use to release pressure; store upright.
  • Batch codes we can verify against production timing and quality checks.
  • Certifications stated clearly: PETA Certified Vegan. Cruelty-free.
  • No artificial fragrance added.

Placement & timing
Use before you make the bed, then open a window for a minute. Refresh jacket linings in the evening so they feel neutral by morning. One light pass in the entry keeps shared air courteous without competing with personal fragrance. For delicate fabrics, patch test on an inside seam first.

Proof — Clean Made: PETA Certified Vegan. Cruelty-free. Label disclosed; no artificial fragrance.

Courtesy effect: Shared rooms feel considered when freshness steps back instead of staying.

Origin whisper: Jeju hinoki, thoughtfully upcycled for daily courtesy.
