Bring the forest home
Every hinok product begins as the same water, distilled from Jeju Hinoki Cypress. This guide follows it through the home:
the fabric that holds onto smells, the sink, the shower, and the bag by the door.
It starts as
one water.
hinok steam distills the pruned branches and leaves of Jeju Hinoki Cypress into cypress water. No tree is cut for it. In The Spray, that water is the product itself. Across the hand, hair, and body line, it is the first ingredient in every formula. How it is sourced and made is on About.

The room and the fabric in it.
The Spray is cypress water for bedding, sofas, curtains, coats, and the rooms that hold them. Mist lightly and let the fabric dry. The scent lasts a moment, then fades, and takes the odor with it. For distance, surfaces, and children or pets, read Where to use The Spray.
One bottle, one refill pouch. For fabric and rooms.
the sink.
The Hand Wash brings the same water to the sink you use all day: crisp while you wash, quiet after. When hands turn dry, The Hand Balm follows. It absorbs quickly, and nothing rubs off on what you pick up next.
The shower.
The Shampoo, The Conditioner, and The Body Wash carry the scent of the cypress forest while the water runs. For those few minutes, it is the nearest the house comes to the forest.
Soothes the scalp. No sulfates, no silicones.
Silky without silicone.
A fine cypress grain for gentle daily exfoliation.
After the shower.
The Hand and Body Lotion is the step after the towel. It goes on light, sinks in without stickiness, and leaves the same quiet note on the skin.
For the body after a shower, and for hands between washes.
Out the door.
Some of the fabric you live with leaves the house with you. The Spray To Go covers coats, bags, and car interiors. The Hair & Body Discovery Set carries the hair and body line in miniature, for a trip or a first try.

The 3.4 fl oz (100 mL) size, for travel.
Four minis: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

The scent stays quiet.
Everywhere it appears, the note reads as cypress: cool and crisp, with dry wood underneath. It comes from the water and, in the care line, the oil. Nothing is added on top, so it sits close to the fabric or the skin instead of filling the room. On fabric, it fades as the odor goes. The Spray’s note shifts a little with the season its water was distilled in.

Begin with one room.
The Spray is the bestseller and the easiest first bottle. The Hair & Body Discovery Set is its counterpart for the shower. Pick the room where you want the forest first, and refill the bottle when it runs out. How refills work is on Refill & reuse.
