For hands that do the work of living.
The Hand Balm is Jeju cypress water bound with shea butter and plant derived glycerin. It gives dry, working hands deep moisture, absorbs without a greasy film, and leaves nothing that rubs off on what you pick up next.
Deep moisture, from two things.
Shea butter, the oil pressed from the fruit of the West African shea tree, and plant derived glycerin carry moisture into dry skin. The cypress water they sit in is the base of the formula, in place of purified water.
Absorbs, then gets out of the way.
It spreads smoothly and absorbs fast, with no greasy film left behind, so nothing rubs off on what you touch next. Its irritation index tested at 0.00 percent, mild across all skin types.
The scent of cypress, up close.
The note comes from the cypress water and the oil, with nothing added on top. It is there while you rub the balm in, then it fades.
Jeju Hinoki Cypress water.
Branches pruned from roughly thirty year old cypress trees in Ara-dong, Jeju, steam-distilled for two hours with the Jeju Resource Plant Research Institute. What remains after distillation is composted and returned to the forest. In this balm, that water is the base, in place of purified water. It changes with the season it was distilled: woodier in summer, closer to citrus in winter.
Hinoki Cypress oil

Yes. It works on dry elbows, knees, and feet. Warm a little between your palms first.
