To safeguard Jeju’s hinoki groves, the Jeju Native Plant Research Institute conducts selective, health-first pruning. Hinok gathers only the twigs and leaves that naturally fall to the forest floor during this gentle upkeep—transforming what nature releases into the cornerstone of our craft.

To draw out hinoki’s finest benefits, our hillside lab beneath Hallasan Mountain partners with the Natural Materials Application Institute (⁠Daebong LS⁠). Season by season, we study each harvest to secure its peak potency and safety.

Then, for just two hours, we rely on gentle steam—no solvents, no aggressive heat—to distill the leaves and twigs. The result is Pure Hinoki Essence, alive with the wood’s untouched forest aroma.

Raw hinoki essence can carry tiny forest particles—natural, yet clouding its clarity. To purify without harsh additives, we use our proprietary Oxygen Refreshing technique: oxygen captured from Jeju’s pristine air is delicately diffused through the hinoki water, coaxing away any impurities.

This gentle step, performed solely at our Jeju facility, leaves the concentrate remarkably fresh and impeccably clean—delivering pure forest vitality with no chemical shortcuts.

Once we’ve drawn out the hinoki concentrate, the remaining twigs, leaves, and stems are quietly fermented and spread as rich forest compost—closing the circle and feeding the very soil that will foster tomorrow’s growth.
