Hinok’s primary ingredient is 100% Jeju Hinoki Cypress water, gently steam-distilled from upcycled branches. All formulas avoid synthetic fragrances and alcohol, reflecting our commitment to clean simplicity and safety-first principles. Harsh chemical additives are consciously avoided.
Hinok products are dermatologically tested and formulated to minimize irritants. The Spray has no artificial fragrances, and potential allergens like limonene are present only in trace amounts from natural Hinoki oil in certain formulations. Many products show no detectable levels of the 25 common allergens.

Yes, Hinok is certified by PETA as cruelty-free and vegan, meaning no animal testing or animal-derived ingredients are used. All products carry PETA’s “Global Beauty Without Bunnies” certification.
Hinok products emphasize minimalism and gentleness. Formulations exclude commonly flagged irritants and undergo thorough dermatological testing. Though no specific contraindications exist, we recommend consulting your physician if you have concerns during pregnancy.

Bottles are molded from post-consumer-recycled PET, cartons use FSC-certified recycled paper, and shipping materials are plastic-free. Through our partnership with rePurpose Global, we offset 100 % of any remaining plastic, earning Korea’s first Plastic Neutral certification. Refill options and minimalist design further trim material use at the source.

All pumps are covered by our 5-Year Long Life Service. If the mechanism fails under normal use, simply contact us and we’ll repair or replace it free of charge, so you can keep the same bottle in circulation and avoid waste.

The Spray is primarily a deodorizer and not registered as a disinfectant. It has shown some effectiveness against common household microbes. For stronger disinfectant needs, we recommend Hinok’s Space Spray, containing 57% grain-fermented ethanol and verified 99.9% disinfecting capability.
Store Hinok products in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight or heat. Our 3.4 fl oz Spray To Go is TSA-friendly, and we recommend using all products within 12 months after opening for best freshness.

Hinok’s PET bottles and FSC-certified paper packaging are fully recyclable, and our shipping materials are plastic-free. Some refill packs may require local recycling verification, but we actively encourage repurposing and offset remaining plastic usage through our plastic neutrality program.
Hinok accepts returns for product defects or shipping errors only. We cannot process returns due to changes of mind, incorrect orders, or opened and used products. To qualify for a return, please contact our support within 14 days of receipt for approval.

Note: We do not offer exchanges, and repeated or abusive return requests may result in account restrictions. If your return is approved due to defects or shipping mistakes, Hinok will cover the return shipping cost.
